There is one dungeon in all of Norath that strikes more fear into newbies' hearts than any other. That dungeon is Befallen. It has a classic name and is built like a classic dungeon in the greatest DnD tradition. Phat lewts drop there like the Enchanted Fine Steel weapons, Gynok's ring, and the Pristine Armors (especially good for Troll Shammys). And, most importantly, it was DANGEROUS. I lost many corpses there over the months I tried adventuring there. It got to the point where I would leave my good stuff in the Neriak bank and drag out my backup gear to wear there instead. It's an extraordinarily hard dungeon for low level characters. After a few trips, even with the experienced players EQC will have, most people will learn to avoid the place. But... for those who brave its depths and study its quests, the zone is well worth the effort. I can't wait to die in there again!
